Phases of the Innovate Children's Health Challenge II
- Phase 0: Enter the Challenge: Enroll a team here! Submit your invention here!
- Phase 1: Elevator Speech: Teams develop a 2-min. elevator speech via recorded video and a 350-word executive summary outlining potential commercial product(s) and company vision. Semi-finalists advance to Phase 2
- Phase 2: Business Plan: Teams develop a 10-page business plan with a detailed financial plan and a 5-min. virtual pitch (webinar) with Q&A to an expert panel of judges. Winners receive a $2000 award and advance to Phase 3
- Phase 3: Start-up: Winners advance ideas, launch startups, apply for licenses, and raise funding

Team Eligibility and Guidelines
- No Minimum Team Size: Enter with teammates or as an individual. We will help you to build a strong team.
- Your Background: All you need to enter is an entrepreneurial spirit! We will teach you what you need to know.
- No Geography Restrictions: The Innovate Children's Health Challenge II is global! Participants can come from anywhere in the world.

- Enroll a Team! To enroll a team, submit a Letter of Intent here. Once enrolled, select a de-risked invention from our list to advance, enter with your own invention, or get matched to an invention based on your interests.
- Submit Your Idea! Submit your invention to improve children's mental health here.
Phase 1: Elevator Speech
- 2-minute elevator pitch in a recorded video, uploaded on our YouTube site here
- 350-word executive summary
- Public voting
Phase 2: Business Plan
- Start-up company incorporation
- 10-page business plan: 11pt font (depending on font type) - title, table of contents, and appendix should not be counted in the 10 pages (Word)
- Financial model: Profit & Loss w/ risk-adjusted NPV, Valuation, and Cap Table
- 5-minute virtual pitch: conducted like webinar -- not in-person -- to expert panel of judges; 5-10 minutes of Q&A
- 10-page pitch deck (maximum length is 10 pages PowerPoint or Prezi)
Phase 3: Start-up
- Applications for the license
- Applications for dilutive/non-dilutive funding
